DOWNTOWN GALLERY CRAWL FEB 4, 2010
The Downtown Arts Alliance will be hosting the bi-monthly Downtown Gallery Crawl on Thursday, February 4, 2010 in Monroe and West Monroe, La. The event is from 5 until 9 pm and is free to all. Local, regional and nationally acclaimed artist of all medias will be exhibiting. Downtown restaurants and bars will also participate with their own exhibits.
The line up in no particular order is:
The Becton Gallery (130 North 2nd St., downtown Monroe) will be featuring original works of art from Polly Spence and Margaret Becton.
Upstairs (135 N. Second St., Monroe) will be featuring artist Jason Byron Nelson. Also showing will be Anna Schriefer, Liza Kidd, Emily Caldwell and Jenny House
The Mystic (137 N. 2nd St, Downtown Monroe) will be featuring Mark Sanders, Jedediah Peppers, Burg Ransom, Megan McClanahan, Reed Adcock and owner/artist Andrea May.
The Sugar Gallery (135 N. Second St., Monroe) will feature Damon Adcock, Lou Davenport Kavanaugh, Diane Rosenburg and Otis Lee Tugwell IV.
Livaudais Studio (122 South Grand St.) will feature fine art photography by Bess Bieluczyk.
Ouachita River Art Gallery (308 Trenton St., West Monroe) will feature Monroe photographer Emily Brodnax. Ouachita River Art Gallery is a non-profit co-op of 29 local and regional artists.
Arender Studio and Gallery (131 N. 2nd St, Monroe) will feature the best of 2009 by Brad Arender.

Thanks for all the great suggestions on the Yaya events! I do have a HUGE Cajun party every October…and it is a GREAT success. Maybe you can make the trip down here in October for it?
